Your children will thank you for the rest of their days for your decision to move to Spain!..
As one of the most child-friendly countries in the world, children are cherished and prioritized in Spain..Spanisch people are unconditionally fond of children. Witness to this is the range and variety of activities that one has to entertain the little ones forever
For the uninitiated, it seems that Spanish children have no curfew or bedtime. In this family-oriented country, late night walks along the promenade with children are common. It is not uncommon to find them in restaurants around midnight while the parents finish a bottle of wine.
The climate is undoubtedly one of the main reasons why children in Spain enjoy a healthy and apparently happy lifestyle. For example, while parents in northern regions struggle to get their children out the door and get into the fresh air, children raised on the Costa del Sol spend much of their time outdoors. There is beach and sea, swimming pools and playgrounds, water parks, amusement parks and endless sports options
Without entrance fees or queues, the beaches of the Costa del Sol are a bundle of fun for your children. The beach with sea and sun is the perfect alternative if you are not in the mood to visit a fun party.
There is a choice of two impressive water parks to frolic on the coast:
one of the largest in Europe with more than 70,000 m² of exciting slides and attractions, as well as various jacuzzi pools to relax and regain your calm. The park has dining options but also offers visitors the opportunity to bring their own picnic.
Parque Acuatico in Mijas:
is the smaller of the two. There are a total of five water slides. For older children the Kamikaze, the Labyrinth Slides and the Body Ski keep them busy, while the Lizard Island and Kiddie Slide are both aimed at the younger members of the family. Other places of interest include mini golf, a climbing wall and several jacuzzis. As with the other parks, there are also large picnic areas and gardens.
The Costa del Sol has a wide variety of parks with its own theme – from animals and marine life to more traditional park attractions – that offer entertainment for all members of the family.
An urban jungle with unexpectedly attractive surprises … This immersion zoo (and reproduction center for endangered species) – with barriers that are virtually invisible to the naked eye and careful recreation of the tropical forests of Madagascar, Equatorial Africa and Southeast Asia – is home to 1300 animals representing around 140 different species. Bioparc stays open until midnight in July and August.
Sea Life Benalmádena:
In the middle of the center of Benalmádena, on the Puerto Marina harbor, the Sea Life aquarium invites you to visit. It offers a surprising view of the treasures of the sea. You can hardly imagine a marine animal or it can be admired there!
The unique interactive aquarium takes visitors on a journey through the world of colorful fish, seahorses that suddenly shoot away and then freeze again, proud eels and slow swimming sea turtles, to name just a few.
In addition to the many fish, there are shellfish of all shapes and sizes, octopuses and other cephalopods, .. Especially the jellyfish and large sharks impress and the two cute otters, Oscar and Maya, are also very nice to see!

Another great family outing. The cable car takes you from the city on the busy N340 highway to the top of the Calamorro mountain. At the top, in addition to the amazing vistas, there is a cafe with cool drinks, walking routes for the more adventurous, an outdoor planetarium and a bird of prey exhibition.
This unique theme park, hidden in a 40-hectare beautiful untouched nature reserve 8 km from Antequera, immerses you in the world of the wolf. There are 4 different types of wolves to see, including the Iberian wolf in a semi-natural habitat. The guides (available in English) give you an explanation of these stately wildlife during the guided walk through the beautiful nature.
There are observation platforms where you come into close contact with the Wolfen. The feeding time is fascinating. There are also night trips where you can hear the wolves howling. There is also a petting zoo with other animals. We recommend the restaurant with a view of El Torcal. In short, a nice educational trip with family. HAVE FUN!…
